WORKING AT LYFT
Ride by ride, we’re reimagining the world’s best transportation.
We envision a world where cities feel small again. Where transportation and tech bring people together, instead of apart. We see the future as community-driven — and it starts with you.
Life at Lyft
Lyft culture revolves around our core values. We have superb benefits and great perks (and some pretty cute office dogs). Across our over 45 locations, we’ve got fabulous programs to connect, grow, and celebrate.
Working at Lyft as an intern, new graduate, or apprentice is a great start to your career. With plenty of mentor support, you’ll make an impact with valuable projects. Plus, you’ll love how friendly and welcoming Lyft culture is.
Inclusion & Diversity
Community is at the center of who we are. To offer everyone the best ride, we start by nurturing our internal community, creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization, where all team members belong.
MEET SOME OF THE TEAM
Eduardo ApolinarioSoftware Engineer, Seattle
Originally from Brazil, Eduardo is an Engineer on the Driver Engagement team, where he enjoys the mix of engineering with data science. Eduardo was previously a Software Engineer at Facebook and learned his wife was pregnant — with twins! — the same week he interviewed at Lyft. He appreciates how easy his co-workers are to work with and jokes, “I came for the tech and stayed for the people.”
Rachel YoungMarketing Associate, Nashville
Rachel helps execute marketing efforts across Tennessee, building the Lyft brand and growing our passenger base while still keeping existing passengers happy. Before her promotion to Marketing Associate, Rachel worked on Lyft’s Social Media Customer Experience Team. A real people-person, she enjoys connecting with the community at events across the state. Rachel is a former freelance graphic designer with something of a font obsession. Her superpower is identifying fonts in the wild. (Look! Behind that tree! It’s Proxima Nova!)
Ryan BarnerFinancial Data Analyst, San Francisco
Ryan builds tools to make sure Lyft is charging passengers correctly and reporting accurately. Before coming to Lyft, she fought digital crime at Deloitte and the US Attorney’s Office in LA. Ryan likes stretching her legs, walking through her office’s quarter-mile-long, open floor plan and staying competitive with her team’s monthly step challenges. Allergic to dogs, Ryan appreciates Lyft’s “No pups allowed” meeting rooms. Her favorite Lyft ride was a Chrysler 300, decked out like a winter wonderland — complete with fake snow, multi-colored LEDs, the sound of thunderstorms, and Christmas carols.
