If it's broken, fix it. If it doesn't exist, invent it. At Lyft, we challenge convention, take risks, and make an impact. Lyft careers are ideal for students and new graduates. So, join us in taking on challenges to change the face of transportation — in cities, with the Lyft app, and beyond.

Opportunities available

Invest in your future and the future of transportation with a rewarding opportunity at Lyft.

During your internship, you’ll be fully integrated into a team where you’ll work on challenging and gratifying projects. Intern cohorts are kept intentionally small and everyone is paired with a mentor. Plus, we offer regular lunch and learns with interns and executives. Throughout your time here, you’ll be immersed in our welcoming, friendly culture where everyone has a significant impact.

New Graduates

New Graduates

Start your career by reimagining tomorrow’s transportation. At Lyft, you’ll hit the ground running, trusted with critical projects and empowered to learn, build, and grow. Every day you'll collaborate with teammates to solve real-world problems, dream up new ideas, and work with products from design to implementation.

SWE Apprenticeship

The SWE Apprenticeship Program is ideal for people coming out of bootcamps (and other non-traditional educational backgrounds) who are ready to dive in and learn more about software engineering in a fast-moving, high-availability space. You'll have the opportunity to engage with engineering teams across the company, get mentored by Lyft engineers, learn new technologies, interface with products from design to implementation, and ship code to production environments.

Associate Product Managers

Our 1.5 year Associate Product Manager program is designed for recent graduates without prior PM experience, who are excited to become great product leaders. APMs will get cross-company experience, focusing on a different major product area every six months. We’ll invest heavily in your professional development and you’ll enjoy mentorship from our top leaders.

Lyft UX Associate Program

Lyft UX Associate Program

The Lyft UX Associate Program (“LUX-AP”) is designed to give individuals working toward a career in user experience (UX) and tech an opportunity for mentorship and hands-on learning. The Associateship program is ideal for people who are ready to dive in and learn more about a specific UX discipline: Product Design, Content Design (UX Writing), UX Research, or Design Program Management. Associates will come from a wide variety of non-traditional backgrounds. They may have attended a bootcamp or be self-taught, but the common-thread is enthusiasm to dive into a specific UX discipline and work closely with a product team for 6-months.
