WORKING AT LYFT
Ride by ride, we’re reimagining the world’s best transportation.
We envision a world where cities feel small again. Where transportation and tech bring people together, instead of apart. We see the future as community-driven — and it starts with you.
Life at Lyft
Lyft culture revolves around our core values. We have superb benefits and great perks (and some pretty cute office dogs). Across our over 45 locations, we’ve got fabulous programs to connect, grow, and celebrate.
Working at Lyft as an intern, new graduate, or apprentice is a great start to your career. With plenty of mentor support, you’ll make an impact with valuable projects. Plus, you’ll love how friendly and welcoming Lyft culture is.
Inclusion & Diversity
Community is at the center of who we are. To offer everyone the best ride, we start by nurturing our internal community, creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization, where all team members belong.
MEET SOME OF THE TEAM
Eduardo ApolinarioSoftware Engineer, Seattle
Originally from Brazil, Eduardo is an Engineer on the Driver Engagement team, where he enjoys the mix of engineering with data science. Eduardo was previously a Software Engineer at Facebook and learned his wife was pregnant — with twins! — the same week he interviewed at Lyft. He appreciates how easy his co-workers are to work with and jokes, “I came for the tech and stayed for the people.”
Jessica ZhangCulture & Entertainment Manager, San Francisco
Jess works on the Culture & Marketing team, telling our brand story through content, influencer marketing, and entertainment partnerships. She enjoys working with creatives and artists who are pushing culture forward while breaking barriers. Prior to Lyft, Jess spent some time at influencer marketing and talent agencies. She loves Lyft’s bright and fun-loving personality, as well as our founders’ vision for bringing communities together. Jess was on a competitive cheerleading team in high school — and still secretly loves watching cheerleading competitions on ESPN. (Don’t worry, Jess. We’re not telling anyone.)
Lamont WalkerStock Plan Administrator, San Francisco
Lamont manages the administration of our employee stock plans, making sure it’s both ethical and competitive. Originally from Alabama, Lamont always looks dapper — you’ll see him sporting a vest and tie with his Nikes. Before Lyft, Lamont managed the equity administration for a bio-tech company. He loves the people and culture at Lyft and says it feels great being around intelligent people who challenge you to better yourself daily. Lamont’s favorite snack is peanut butter and jelly sandwiches — his clear preference over avocado toast. (Sorry, San Francisco.)
