Lyft PressKit 08

In response to the Nashville tornado, Lyft is committed to doing our part to help those in need. We’re activating our Disaster Response program to provide rides to help people move around the Nashville area.

Discounted rides can be accessed using code NASHRELIEF20 for those evacuating to local shelters and wanting to donate blood to the American Red Cross. This code is valid for two rides, up to $15 per ride, between now and March 10, 2020 to the following locations:

Shelter Locations:

  • Centennial Sportsplex: 222 25th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37203

  • East Magnet High School: 110 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206

  • Victory Baptist Church: 1777 Tate Ln, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122

Blood Bank Locations:

  • Nashville Blood Donation Center: 2201 Charlotte Ave, Nashville, TN 37203

  • Veteran Affairs Medical Center: 1310 24th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203

  • Vanderbilt University Medical Center: Light Hall 2215 Garland Ave, Nashville, TN 37232

Please note that shelters may be experiencing high capacity. Check your local shelter for more information, including any changes in operating hours or location.

Since the impact of the tornado affected some polling locations, we’ll also be offering code NASHVOTERELIEF20 to provide discounted rides to Super Tuesday polling locations in Nashville. This code will be valid to polling locations listed here, up to $15, until 11:59 p.m. CST on March 3, 2020. Limit one (1) ride per person. This promo code is not intended to induce, nor is it conditioned on, the act of voting, or voting for or against any particular person or measure. Subject to Lyft's Terms of Use.

Safety is fundamental to Lyft and we will continue to monitor the area’s conditions and communicate with Lyft drivers, riders, and government officials. As always, we look forward to providing rides to those who need them.

LyftUp is our comprehensive effort to expand transportation access to those who need it most. Our hearts go out to those impacted by the tornado. Please stay tuned for updates.
