Connecting Toronto residents with healthy food

Everyone deserves access to healthy, nutritious food. So we’ve partnered with local nonprofits, grocery stores, and farmers markets to provide Torontonians in need with discounted Lyft Shared rides to and from area grocers. Eligible participants receive $2.50 CAD rides to and from participating grocery providers.*

Who is eligible to register?

All applications are provided and reviewed by our community partners, Black Creek Community Farm and the Children’s Aid of Toronto.

How do participants use their discounted rides?

  • Ride credits will be added to participants’ Lyft accounts at the start of the program period.
  • When ready to shop, participants simply enter their destination and select Shared.
  • A $2.50 CAD ride payment will be applied automatically to Shared rides to and from participating grocery providers.*
