Two New Features for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Drivers

Inspired by our deaf and hard-of-hearing drivers, these two features are designed to help create a smoother ride experience for every member of the Lyft community. As we add the finishing touches, you can opt in early

Pre-ride texts.

We’ll instruct every passenger to text you instead of call, and to follow your lead on in-car communication.

Amp ride requests.

In addition to lighting up the streets, your Amp will also notify you of new requests, making them easier to spot.

By opting in, you’ll be one of the first to access each feature as they roll out in the next couple months.
