Express Pay is now available in Canada
As stay-at-home orders lift and people begin to return to work, we’re looking for ways to ensure you can access your earnings as soon as you need to.
That’s why we’re happy to let you know Express Pay is now available in Canada. With Express Pay, you’re in control. Instead of waiting for your weekly payout, you can now use Express Pay to cash out easily — up to five times a day.
How to set it up:
Go to the ‘Pay Info’ tab in your Lyft Driver app.
Tap ‘Add debit card’ under ‘Express Pay’ to add or update your information. (Note: Visa debit cards only. At this time prepaid, credit, Mastercard, and Interac-only debit cards are not supported.)
When you’re ready to cash out, go to your ‘Earnings’ tab and tap ‘Cash out’ to get your earnings (for a $0.50 fee per use).
Need to know:
Make sure you have the latest version of the Driver app.
Cash out up to 5 times a day, whenever you’ve made $5.50 or more.
A $0.50 fee is applied each time you access your earnings with Express Pay.
Any balance you haven’t cashed out by Tuesday at 5 AM will be paid via your weekly payout.
Successful transfers start processing immediately, but earnings only appear in your account when your bank has finished processing the deposit.
