Get Ready! Austin City Limits Music Festival is back for 2017. ACL takes place over two weekends and is expecting nearly a half million festival goers. That means we’re anticipating record demand for rides to the festival and throughout Austin, proving once again Austin’s rightful place as the Live Music Capital of the World. Dates:**Oct. 6-8 & Oct 13-15**
Get your aux cord and prep your playlist, Austin will be alive for two weekends of food, music, and much more. The headliners at ACL this year include Jay-Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Chance the Rapper. You can find the festival schedule here.
Whether you’re heading to the festival or out-and-about in Austin, be sure to come by the Lyft Driver Pit Stop. We’ll have plenty of snacks and beverages from High Brew Coffee and Hubert’s Lemonade from 3 PM-7 PM. Restrooms will also be available until midnight. Get to know Zilker Park and your surroundings from Day 1. Austin City Limits will have three pickup and drop-off areas around Zilker Park. Passengers will need plenty of rides to get around. Get the full details from the City of Austin on road closures and picking up and dropping off here.
Please note: Austin Police Department will be writing tickets to any drivers stopping, picking up, or dropping off on Barton Springs, Robert E. Lee, or the northbound MoPac frontage road.
Stephen F. Austin Drive (Austin High tennis courts and under MoPac Bridge)
Enter from Cesar Chavez
Turn onto Stephen F. Austin Drive
Turn into the Austin High tennis court parking lot east entrance
Waiting is allowed in this parking lot or under the MoPac bridge
Exit from the west side of the parking lot
Turn right onto Stephen F. Austin and continue to Lake Austin Blvd
Sterzing Street (Only until 9pm, between Barton Springs and Toomey Road)
Enter from Barton Springs
Turn right on Sterzing
Pick up or drop off passenger
Exit by turning right on Toomey
Lee Barton Drive (between Lamar Boulevard and Riverside Drive)
Lee Barton is open to two way traffic
Due to congestion on Barton Springs, please enter from Riverside or Butler
