Introducing Tipping for Lyft Pass

Automate tipping in your Lyft Pass programs to help make rides smoother than ever. Lyft Pass tipping allows you to set default tips as a percentage or dollar amount. Once you set it up, it will automatically apply to all rides with that Lyft Pass.

Riders can choose to add additional gratuity on top of the default tip you set. If they do so, the additional tip will be billed to their personal payment method.

Drivers keep 100% of their tips. Tipping is a great way to thank drivers for excellent service. While tipping is never required, it’s always appreciated.

How to turn on tipping

To turn on this feature, log into the Lyft Business Portal.* Select ‘Lyft Pass’ and the program you want to update. Then tap ‘Benefit Allowance’ to turn on tipping and set a default tip. The tip will not be deducted from the Lyft Pass amount and will be billed separately.

Tipping will remain off for your programs until you turn it on.
