Children are the future of our communities in Ontario and beyond, and we’re proud to help raise funds for Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Foundation (CHEO) and SickKids Foundation. Through our Round Up & Donate program, you can use your ride to help improve the lives of children in Ontario.

Want to make a difference? Opt in and we’ll round up each of your ride payments to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to SickKids Foundation (in Toronto) or CHEO (in Ottawa). We’ll do our part by matching your donations from October to December — up to $10,000 towards each organization.

Opt in to Round Up & Donate:

  1. Open the menu in your Lyft app.

  2. Tap Donate, then Select your cause

  3. Choose SickKids Foundation or CHEO

About Our Partnership

SickKids and CHEO have been our partners since we arrived in Toronto and Ottawa, and the Round Up & Donate program has been critical in bringing the community together to support these important causes. Even if you just contribute a few dollars a month, we can make a big difference.

SickKids Foundation

The mission of SickKids Foundation is to inspire our communities to invest in health and scientific advances to improve the lives of children and their families in Canada and around the world.

“SickKids Foundation is proud to have been selected as Lyft’s first charitable partner in Canada because it represented a partnership with many shared beliefs and values,” says Adam Starkman, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, SickKids Foundation. “We are grateful for the ongoing support of Lyft and their riders who have continued to opt in to the Round Up & Donate platform which is helping us build a new SickKids and make a difference for our patients and families.”

The CHEO Foundation

The CHEO Foundation supports the work of the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Your donations help the hospital provide a wide variety of pediatric programs, research, state-of the art equipment, medical and nursing education, and assistance for families in crisis.

"We're constantly striving to better support the children and families that come to CHEO for superior care, which means a high bar every day," says Kevin Keohane, President and CEO of CHEO Foundation. "Without like-minded, dedicated people and partners in our community like Lyft, it wouldn't be possible to do what we do. We're so grateful to Lyft's support through our Round Up and Donate partnership."
