This fort is 1 of 8 forts built prior to the War of 1812 that is still standing in the USA. We have year-round cannon firings at 11a & 2p, daily. It is a fantastic venue for watching ocean going vessels travel the Savannah River.
This museum showcases the city's history from its founding in 1733 to present day. Come learn about the Revolutionary War in Savannah, see Johnny Mercer's Oscar and Grammy and don't forget Forrest Gump's bench.
