The Forest Preserve District of Will County's McKinley Woods - Kerry Sheridan Grove provides two shelters and access to 1.75 miles of paved trail, the I&M Canal State Trail, Four Rivers Environmental Education Center, and Des Plaines River for canoeing/kayaking and fishing. Open 8 a.m.-sunset.
Pilcher Park Nature Center is a log cabin in the woods and a place of wonder for children of all ages. We see 15,000 school children yearly. We have yearly festivals such as Fairy Fest the first weekend in May and Pioneer Fest in March.
