The Sundance Film Festival is an independent film festival across Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah. 

This year’s festival is Jan 19–29. And it’s in-person for the first time since the pandemic.

Expect more rides, hooray 

Rides are expected to increase by 8.5%* in the Salt Lake City area during the festival. Here’s when rides are expected to peak:

• Fri Jan 20 from 3 PM–7 PM 

• Sat Jan 21 from 7 PM–11 PM 

• Fri Jan 27 from 7 PM–11 PM 

• Sat Jan 28 from 7 PM–1 AM

More demand at the SLC airport

With people coming in from all over the world, we’re expecting the SLC airport to be a busy place*, especially: 

• Wed Jan 18 from 10 AM–11 PM

• Thur Jan 19 from 10 AM–10 PM

Festival Pickup & Drop Off area

Lyft will have a staffed pickup and drop off area on Swede Alley near Main Street with the following hours: 

• Jan 20–23 from 12 PM–2 AM

• Jan 24–29 from 2 PM–12 AM
