How to Give That First Ride
Even the best Lyft drivers started in your seat. You're approved to drive, but something (nerves, maybe?) is holding you back from that first ride. To help you feel more comfortable on the road, we rounded up these helpful tips.
Give your first ride during off-peak hours. Weekday afternoons have less traffic, and suburban areas offer easier pickups and drop-offs.
Practice navigating. Using Waze is an easy way to put your mind at ease and keep your star rating high.
Invest in tools of the trade. Keep your phone charger handy, and use a phone mount to stay hands-free – making your passengers feel safe and comfortable can lead to higher ratings and tips for you.
