Need time off the road to take care of yourself or your family? Go for it.
Massachusetts drivers received approximately $1.9 million dollars in redeemed Sick Pay and Paid Family Medical Leave stipends (Q3 2025).
We've launched a Portable Health Fund for Massachusetts drivers
Drivers who average at least 15 hours per week in a calendar quarter across the Lyft and Uber platforms may be eligible for a quarterly cash stipend from a Portable Health Fund.
*This rate will be adjusted annually to account for inflation and/or changes to Massachusetts’ minimum wage rate. Your eligible earnings include earnings from giving rides, but are calculated before tips, tolls, select bonuses (such as those for referring other drivers), Express Drive rental fees, and more. If you earn less than the guaranteed minimum over a 14-day period (starting and ending Mondays at 5 AM), you’ll be paid an adjustment for the difference on the following Wednesday.
