Halloween is one of Lyft’s busiest nights of the year. This is particularly true at college campuses, where the holiday stretches across the whole weekend. In fact, there are twice as many rides on Halloween weekend (Thursday to Sunday) relative to other weekends in the fall, as students leave their dorms to flaunt their ’fits at (mostly) frats.

Compared with a normal weekend, rides to frat houses are 3.6 times higher on Halloweekend. Rides double to nightclubs and fast food locations (what better way to end a spooky night out?), and rides to stores increase by 20% (probably as students go out for last-minute costume, food, and drink needs).

But we wanted to know: Who can crown themselves the school with the most Halloween spirit?
According to Lyft data, the spookiest school is California State University, Monterey Bay, where there are twice as many rides on Halloween weekend as there are on a typical fall weekend. The runner-up was the University of Florida.

Lastly, we were curious how Halloweekend impacts what time students take rides. The night-owl award goes to the Knights (a pun would just be too easy) from the University of Central Florida, with 2.8 times more late-night rides on Halloween than other fall weekends. They are closely tailed by Cal State Monterey Bay. That said, almost every school we analyzed showed a large increase in the percentage of rides after midnight. So, college-town drivers, get your pumpkin-spiced lattes ready!
