Forbes has named Lyft to its 2026 Best Brands for Social Impact list and we’re incredibly proud of what this recognition represents. This list is not determined by a panel of judges. It is based on feedback from real customers, who rated brands on values, trust, and community support. That makes this recognition especially meaningful. It belongs to the riders, drivers and partners who make this work possible every day.
Small acts, big impact
In 2025, Lyft riders contributed more than $5 million through our Round Up & Donate program bringing the total raised for nonprofits across North America to more than $43 million since 2017. Over 100 million donations, averaging just 36 cents each, have added up to real change for causes our community cares about.
Our inaugural Giving Tuesday matching campaign last year increased Round Up & Donate sign-ups, achieving an 8x boost in daily sign-ups compared to the previous year. This momentum was fueled by Lyft and CEO David Risher matching rider donations throughout the day.
We also expanded the program into Puerto Rico and Quebec, launching with local partners so riders in those communities can direct their donations to organizations serving their community. When Lyft enters a new market, our goal is not only to help people get around, but to be a force for good in the communities we serve.
Getting people where opportunity lives
Transportation isn't just about getting from point A to point B. For many people, it's the difference between landing a job, making it to a medical appointment, a food pantry, or a polling place.
Through Lyft Up, our initiative to ensure transportation is never a barrier, we estimate to have offered more than 7 million discounted or donated rides in 2025 to help under-resourced communities reach what they need. That includes 8,000+ rides for job seekers through our Jobs Access program, nearly 4 million riders who have used Lyft to get to the polls, and more than 1 million riders help reach shelter during a natural disaster.
We're also proud of our new partnerships with Hire Heroes USA and Call of Duty Endowment, connecting veterans with employment opportunities and the rides they need to pursue them. For people who've given so much, transportation should never stand in the way of their next opportunity.
What this recognition means to us
Being named to this list is an honor. It reflects the trust our community places in Lyft and reinforces our purpose to serve and connect. There's more work to do, and we're just getting started.
