When riders bike or scoot, a tree* will be planted, powered by Aspiration’s tree-planting program. That means from Earth Day on April 22 until World Environment Day on June 5, all bike and scooter journeys taken in Chicago and Denver, and all bike rides in the Bay Area, will be greener than ever.
It’s that simple. Use the Lyft or local bikeshare apps to find a bike or scooter in a participating city, and we’ll do the rest.

*Funded trees can take up to 18 months to plant, allowing for time to set up nurseries, select/expand planting sites, take advantage of optimal planting seasons and accommodate for local/regional/country social, political, and health considerations.
Mid-campaign update:
It's May 17 and you've taken over 1.3 million rides. And that means 1.3 million more trees will be planted. Dang! Way to go, riders.
To celebrate, we're upping the stakes: For every ride through June 5, two trees will be planted*, powered by Aspiration.
