We've heard from riders that adjusting to new routines with the uncertainty of COVID is stressful. Now, more than ever, riders are looking for more flexibility and options as they travel around their cities — whether they're commuting, running errands, or getting together with friends. That’s why Lyft is adding benefits to our membership program with the Lyft Pink annual plan. In addition to the savings on Lyft rides and free food delivery with Grubhub+, we’re adding bikeshare membership benefits across the US. The annual plan gives riders what they’ve been asking for: upping the ante from 3 free 30-minute bike rides (on the monthly plan) to unlimited 45-minute rides on many of our bikeshare programs across the country (including Citi BikeⓇ in NYC and Divvy in Chicago), as well as discounted ebike minutes. And, the annual plan is cheaper than paying monthly — it comes at a $40 discount over the course of a year.

“The Lyft Pink annual plan rolls up all of the perks of two memberships into one, with the addition of unlimited 45-minute bike rides across many of our most popular bikeshare programs,” said David Foster, Head of Transit, Bikes and Scooters at Lyft. “Shared bikes are a fast, fun, and affordable way to experience your city, while also benefiting cities with reduced emissions and congestion, so we're making it even easier for our riders to take one for a spin whenever it fits their needs.”

At $199/year, Lyft Pink’s annual plan provides unprecedented access to the transportation options that riders need, now with the addition of new bikeshare benefits across Lyft-operated bikeshare systems in New York (Citi Bike), Chicago (Divvy), the San Francisco Bay Area (Bay Wheels), Minneapolis (Nice Ride), Portland (BIKETOWN), Columbus (CoGo Bikeshare), Denver, and Santa Monica. Lyft’s bikeshare systems continue to break ridership records, with Citi Bike and Divvy hitting all-time daily highs in recent weeks. Lyft Pink’s bike benefits will continue to help fuel the bike boom by encouraging city residents to use two wheels instead of four for short trips, both reducing traffic congestion and carbon emissions.

Lyft Pink’s annual plan offers its members:

  • 15% off of all personal rideshare rides

  • Unlimited 45-minute classic bike rides, discounted ebike rides and unlocks across the US*

  • Free or discounted scooter rides in select markets*

  • Free food delivery with a Grubhub+ or Seamless+ membership**

  • Free rental upgrades with SIXT***

  • Priority airport pickups

  • Relaxed rideshare cancelations

Goodwill® to provide Lyft Pink annual memberships to LyftUp Jobs Access Participants

In addition to providing an upgraded offer for Lyft users, we recognize that Lyft Pink annual memberships can provide meaningful support to communities in need. Our LyftUp Jobs Access program currently helps low-income individuals access free rideshare transportation to job interviews, job trainings, and the first few weeks of work — and the majority of Jobs Access participants represent communities of color, who have experienced even higher unemployment rates throughout the pandemic.

Starting this Fall, in New York City and Chicago, our Jobs Access partner, Goodwill®, and our network of LyftUp organizations, will begin to help bring Lyft Pink to their communities, offering the benefits of unlimited bikeshare as a primary way for these individuals to commute to their jobs. The partnership is part of Goodwill’s Rising Together™ coalition, which aims to build an equitable economic recovery by giving one million people access to sustainable jobs by 2025.

“Goodwill has a long history of offering job seekers support that sets them up for success, including preparing, interviewing, and getting to work,” said Steve Preston, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries International. “The partnership, through Lyft’s Jobs Access Program and Lyft Pink, will provide many Goodwill participants with free and discounted additional modes of transportation for micromobility commute options — giving them paths to new beginnings. Our partners at Lyft are helping us ensure that those job seekers gain economic mobility and move forward in life.”

To date, over 60% of program participants have reported that they would not be able to get to work without a Lyft ride. With the new offering of unlimited bikes, we hope to unlock access for even more people, since Jobs Access program participants will now be able to use free and discounted micromobility solutions to commute to their jobs for a full year.
