The news about COVID-19 is rapidly evolving, and we know this may affect your ability to make use of Lyft Pink. You can pause your membership at any time for up to 12 weeks. Just go to 'Settings' in the Lyft App, tap 'Lyft Pink', and then select 'Pause.’ You can reactivate your Lyft Pink membership at any time simply by going to ‘Settings,’ then tapping ‘Lyft Pink’ and selecting ‘Resume plan’. In the event that Lyft service in your region is suspended, we'll automatically pause your membership for you and send you a notification.
Once you join Lyft Pink, your membership will auto-renew monthly using your default payment method. You'll get 15% off rides and can use Lyft Pink on car rides in the US. You also get access to other perks and benefits, like airport priority pickups, special offers, and more. Learn more about these perks in the FAQs below.
When it's busy at applicable airports, we'll match you with a closer driver. This perk only applies to Standard Lyft rides and does not apply to airports where Fast Match is available such as LAX, LGA, MDW, MSY, PDX, and SAN. Lyft cannot guarantee a faster pickup.
If you cancel and rebook a ride within 15 minutes, we'll credit you the cancellation fee up to 3 times per month. You'll see the credit in your account after you finish your rebooked ride and rate the driver.
For a limited time, Lyft Pink riders get 3 free 30-minute classic bike or scooter rides or 3 free ebike unlocks per month in certain markets. You’ll also get a discounted per-minute rate for ebike rides: $.10/min in New York City and $.15/min in the San Francisco Bay Area. Rides must be booked using the Lyft app. Bike perks are available in the New York Metro Area, San Francisco Bay Area (via Bay Wheels), and Washington DC Metro Area (via Capital Bikeshare). Scooter perks are available in Austin, TX, Denver, C, Los Angeles, CA, Miami, FL, Minneapolis, MN, Oakland, CA, San Diego, CA, San Jose, CA, and Washington DC.
We'll occasionally surprise Lyft Pink Riders with limited time offers. These may include seasonal discounts, premium mode discounts (e.g. Lux or XL), or partnership offers.
Lyft will automatically waive the lost item fee after you report a lost item. This perk has unlimited uses.
Yes! The 15% discount, cancellation fee perk, and lost & found perk don't affect what drivers earn. They will be fully compensated in all cases.
No, Lyft Pink does not cover tips. Tips are charged directly to your payment method.
The Lyft Pink ride discount can be combined with credits, but not with other percentage-off or dollar-off promotional coupons.
No, Lyft Pink is only available for personal rides and doesn’t apply to business profile rides.
Yes. If you use scheduled rides, you can apply the discount on the 'Rate & Pay' screen under 'Payment' once you finish the ride. We're working on making this easier — stay tuned!
Lyft Pink is valid for car rides taken anywhere in the US where Lyft operates.
The 15% discount applies to all vehicle ride types, including Shared, Standard Lyft, Lyft XL, Lux Black XL, Lux, and Lux Black. The 15% discount does not apply to bike or scooter rides. The bike and scooter perk of 3 free 30-minute rides will only apply in certain markets (see separate FAQ for bike and scooter restrictions).

To cancel your membership, tap 'Settings', then 'Lyft Pink' and scroll to 'Cancel.' You can cancel at any time. Cancellations will apply to the next billing cycle and you'll have until the end of the current period to use your 15% off discount and perks.
To update your payment method, tap 'Payment' then 'Lyft Pink.' Next, choose an existing payment method or add a new one.
You can cancel your membership at any time and you won't be charged for the following period. If you cancel your membership before using any benefits during your current billing cycle, you can receive a refund for the membership fee. However, if you've used benefits with your membership, no partial refunds are given.
Apple Pay, Google Pay, Commuter Benefits, Paypal, and prepaid cards (including gift cards) are not accepted for recurring membership fees. However, you may still use these payment methods for rides.
Per state and local laws, Lyft is obligated to collect sales taxes in certain jurisdictions. The amount you are charged will be based on local regulations and the billing address associated with your payment method.
Lyft may add, remove, or change perks and discounts over time. Certain perks may only be available for limited periods of time. Go to 'Settings' in your app to see the latest perks and offers.
Your purchase and use of Lyft Pink (“Lyft Pink”) is subject to these terms and conditions (the “Lyft Pink Terms”), as well as the Lyft Terms of Service. By purchasing, activating, or otherwise using Lyft Pink, you agree to the Lyft Pink Terms. In the event of any conflict between these Lyft Pink Terms and the Lyft Terms of Service, the Lyft Terms of Service will prevail. Lyft Pink is an automatically-renewing subscription membership that gives you access to perks and benefits (“Perks”). Your Lyft Pink membership will automatically renew, and your default payment method will be charged (plus applicable taxes), at the start of every billing period until cancelled. If you join Lyft Pink pursuant to an introductory or promotional offer then your membership will automatically renew at the regular price at the conclusion of the offer period. You may cancel Lyft Pink at any time by navigating to the ‘Settings’ tab in the Lyft Application (“Lyft App”). If you cancel you will continue to have access to Lyft Pink Perks until the end of your current billing cycle. Lyft Pink is only available in the United States. Limit one (1) Lyft Pink membership per person. Lyft reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access to Lyft Pink if we suspect that you have engaged in fraudulent or abusive activity. Members of Lyft Pink may have access to a set discount Perk (the “Discount”) on ride fares taken through the Lyft App. The Discount and other relevant Perks will only apply to car rides that are requested using your personal Lyft account, and that commence during your active membership period. The Discount does not apply to business rides, tips, cancellation fees, damage charges, or other miscellaneous fees or charges. The Discount does not apply to bike or scooter rides. The details of the current Lyft Pink Perks can be found at on the Lyft Pink FAQ page and in the Lyft App. Lyft reserves the right to modify these Lyft Pink Terms at any time, effective upon posting to the Lyft App. Your continued use of Lyft Pink following such modification will constitute your agreement of the revised Lyft Pink Terms. Lyft further reserves the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any Perks, or to increase the price of Lyft Pink, in Lyft’s sole discretion. Any increase in the price of Lyft Pink will only take effect with at least thirty (30) days’ notice to provide you an opportunity to cancel your membership. Lyft may provide such through the Lyft App or by email. LYFT PINK AND ALL ASSOCIATED PERKS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Lyft Pink is non refundable, has no cash value, is not redeemable for cash (except as required by law), and may not be transferred, exchanged or resold. Lyft Pink may not be combined with other promotions, discounts, or offers, unless such combination is expressly permitted. Membership requires a valid credit card or debit card on file as the default payment method. If your payment method is expired or declined your membership will be suspended and Lyft will prompt you to enter a valid payment method. Taxes apply where applicable.
